Education Justice Nonprofit
Client: MEJA
MEJA is a nonprofit coalition of students, parents, educators, community and union members who support universal, free public education. The coalition was at a crossroads with no full-time staff, but an enthusiastic core of members putting on a rally for public education in Boston. They had a PR firm working on the rally itself, but wanted to develop a site and brand to build on the rally's aftermath and later attract an executive director.
Role: Web designer, brand designer
Tigerella was hired to design a logo and website from scratch. I coached them through developing an information architecture and planning content, delivered logo iterations until all coalition members approved, and built and launched a website on Squarespace before a major event (a large Boston rally for public education). The team was pleased with the process and results, especially the ease of use in updating.
